Hello again. As I mentioned Super was dropped from the Super Record name in 1985, but reintroduced in 1987. Therefore. Bob's 27 x 1 Super records could also be from 1987. Dave

Hi Raoul,
This will answer some of your questions.
1976. First year for 27 x 1 1/8 Super Record Gumwall. Original Equipment on P10/15
1977. Super 700 x 28 added. Offered with clincher option on P10.
1978. You already have. In addition 3 sew-up tires were offered: 230 gm red label, 270 gm
yellow label, 300 gm blue label.
1979-82. No apparent changes or additions.
1983. Following tires added.
700 x 32 Le Tour Skinwall
27 x 1 Super Record 270 gm
27 x 1 Super Record 220 gm
700 x 25 Super 700 270 gm
700 x 25 Super 700 220 gm
1984 Passage 27 x 1 1/4 400 gm introduced as original equipment on Voyageurs
Circuit 700 x 25 220 gm introduced as original equipment on Super Sport
Other sizes of these tires could also have been introduced, but I found no information.
1985 Dual Hardness tires introduced Outside timeline?
This phase included
4 Passage 27 x 1 1/4 tires from 350 to 420 gms
6 folding tires using Passage, Record and Circuit names. "Super" was dropped from Record name.
6 "Competition" tires in 27 x1 and 700 x 25 from 220 gm to 270 gm under the Circuit name.
6 Sport Touring tires in 27 x 1 1/8 and 700 x 28 from 300 gm to 480 gm under the Record name.
So back to specific questions. The first 1 inch tire was added in 1983. Folding tires in 1985. Ed Kasper's Super 700s are from 1983 at the earliest. Bob's Super Record 27 x 1 tires are from 1983. My list shows 2 versions, 220 gms and 270 gms.
Hope this helps with the cronology.
Dave Staub
