Hey Harvey ,

You might give a call to Alan , at Bicycle Classics .

They had rings custom made for them , some while back ( was it Mike Kone ? ) .

They had them made in the smallest rings possible , 44 teeth . The rings were made of excellent modern alloy ( at least as good as the original Campagnolo from the 1958 - 1968 era ) . And , the rings are exact duplicates - except that they have no lettering on them at all .

And you can use one up , without worrying that you are consuming an item which belongs in some museum somewhere !

If you have an early Campagnolo crankset , you should consider these .

I bought one .

The quality is exceptionally fine !

The price was a bargain ! But , I can't recall now . . .

Best of luck in your search !

Cheers ,
