Hello All, After checkin' out the the pictures of the Garlattis', they very closely resemble a Cinelli Riviera. The head tube lugs, crown and stay attachment are right-on for the Riviera, even the under-the-toptube braze-on cable guides are dead on. Could Cinelli have subcontracted the construction of the lowly Riviera to Garlatti?? Its quite clear that the only similarites shared by the Riviera and the other Cinelli frames is the use of a headtube badge. Best Wishes, Dave (Cinelli Fan) Martinez Fremont Ca

Here's some photos of my (as-found) Garlatti.

The bike was a bit too big and I gave it to my friend John who painted the frame bright yellow and hung his "deers head" Shimano 600 group on it. He's now back in Australia with the bike. He bought several bikes while he lived here for the last 2-1/2 years, always telling me how much more bikes and parts cost in Australia.

While I had the bike, I collected a few other photos of Garlattis: http://www.twistcomm.com/BikePix/Garlatti2/source/garlatti.html

Good luck with your grandfather's bike!
