Well we got together some of Michigan's finest CR List Members for a day of victuals, libation, bullshit and part swapping at the Cadieux Cafe in Detroit today. It was smaller than we had hoped, but the Ohio contingent could not make it and they were missed. In attendance were Mark Agree, Jimmy Katynski, Ed Kasper and his wife Kelly, Tom Cox, Leonard Bulger with his family, and myself. This was a great chance to meet some new folks, as I had not met Tom, Leonard, or Ed, and, of course, their families.
We ate some and drank some and then went outside to play. Mark had been wanting to ride my old Richard Sachs bike and he was grinning from ear to ear. I had been wanting to ride Jimmy's absolutely mint RB-1 and I was grinning from ear to ear, too. That thing sure rides nice!
We swapped some stuff around and all went away happy, promising to get together again and hoping the Ohio folks could join us next time. Perhaps a Sunday would work better for them.
