I would have guessed that the Avocet anatomic saddles had a bit to do with it too.

Strange how different persons like different saddles. I never got along that well with the Turbo. I absolutely hated the Profil, and I've never tried the Rolls. The Concour suited me better on my bikes with racing pretensions, but it was the Avocet Touring II that was the first saddle I really liked. I have two and keep a close watch for more.

Now of course I have the weight to break in leather saddles almost immediately, and thus ride Brooks almost exclusively.
