The short answer: Triplex (Spain) just got on the bandwagon of companies copying Tullio's brilliant Gran Sport derailleur that included Gian Robert (Italy), Simplex (France), Benelux (England), Zeus (Spain), and Shimano (Japan) among others. ref: _The Dancing Chain_, Berto, Shepard, Henry
