Subject: [CR]For century type rides

Hello I’m Jeremy from NYC. Glad to be aboard your forum. I have owned a late 80’s Della Santa (relaxed angles) and a Gios compact, and now want to get back into the sport: however as a mostly casual rider not out to race.

Was wondering if there is anyone on the forum who has experience riding an array of classics (mostly Italian) from the 60’s or early 70’s? Specifically I was interested in finding out which classics tend to ride the most comfortably without being total dogs. Are there particular makers/vintages that were known for making more all day (century type) riding bikes that had a modicum of decent handling thrown in as well? Any rider experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
