Happy new year to all of you.

I have a Dura Ace AX group for sale. It came on a bike I just got that has maybe five miles on it, and was stored indoors in a dry area. Judging by the almost pristine condition (details for those interested below, jpegs available later today or this weekend) of the parts/frame, it is probably true. $750 plus shipping, and includes, cranks, pedals, bb, front and rear derailluer, shifters (these are 600), cables, complete wheelset (tires/tubes etc), cassette, chain, brakes/levers, cinelli stem/dura ace ax bars with yellow Benotto tape, no seatpost but I have one from a later Dura Ace group that is the aero version (this is used), and no headset. Details on parts below if interested. Save this group from Ebay. Truth in advertising below signature. Jpegs to interested buyers.

1. Cranks: Dura Ace AX, 165, one key release, Dyna Drive pedals, alfredo binda laminated straps. 42/52 chainrings which have absolutely no wear. No rust on chainring bolts. There are a few random little scratches (will jpeg them) on cranks, more from being in a storage space for 20 plus years) from a foot away, cranks look brand new. Really. Maybe little scratches on the end of one pedal, need to check. BB smooth as silk.

2. Derailluers: Dura Ace AX, no rust on anything, a small rub mark on rear from some black rubber object, will probably come off. Shifters perfect, but they are 600 variants, not Dura Ace.

3. Wheelset: Absolutely zero wear on sidwalls of Mavic G40 rims, 32 stainless spokes straight g, eyelets have not discolored, Dura Ace AX hubs, 11/20 seve n speed cassette, no wear on cassette at all. Chain is a 600 uniglide, also as new. Tires are new with the seam still down the middle: one is an Avocet fasgrip Criterium, the other is a Specialized Turbo LS, or something like that. Both new as can be. No scratches on QR's. The wheels are georgeous. Hubs silky smooth.

4. Brakes: The sought after Dura Ace AX brake/lever set. Perfect calipers, no wear on pads at all, levers have no use, one has a black rub mark like the derailluer (maybe it was covered with a tarp, I will rub to see if it comes off) AX aero levers, dry but intact gum hoods. These all attached to:

5: Cinelli 1 A stem, 90 cm, perfect, with Dura Ace AX handlebars, 40 cm wide, wild aero bend (ok not so wild they drop a tiny bit from the center, and flare out at the ends). They have the aero shaped spongy plastic cover over the cables, and yellow Benotto tape with no scratches or tears. The bike was not ridden.

6. Seat post: I have a seat post from a later group that is aero, 27.2, clearly used but in good condition. I believe it is from the 84 Dura Ace group, but it is shaped very much like the original AX but is round for standard seat tubes.
