Subject: [CR]Good reading for bicyclists...introducing Jim Foreman

All this talk of bicycling films and books lately prompts me to write and say that those not familiar with Jim Foreman would perhaps enjoy his website where many choice tidbits of cycling stories, lore and recounted adventures await you. Jim is a long time adventurer who though now 75 years young still holds (I think) an altitude record for glider flying and once held the record for speed for 24 hours on a motorcycle, set when he rode a BMW R-600 for the manufacturer. He is a long time bicyclist who has toured all over the world and a writer somewhat like Dave Barry in style. He is, of course, a long time contributor to the Touring List and, I think, the IBOB list where some will recognize him from. Still an active long distance cyclist, I don't think the guy ever will slow down. I really have treasured the chance chat back and fourth with him and I would imagine his many stories will delight one and all. http://www.jimforeman.com/
