I like that idea as well as I've been spending the last couple days trying to shoehorn more wheels (and rims) into my small shop. As an add-on to the idea below, a pair of these horizontal 'shower rods' with the shower curtain type hook, running parallel to each other maybe 8 or so inches apart will allow you to alternate wheels (one on the front rail, one on the back rail, repeat) so that the hubs aren't right up against each other in the middle but the hubs would fit into a more open spoked area of the two wheels on either side of it because they'd be on the other (front or rear depending on where that wheel is) rail.

I like this idea but suspect I won't be able to take advantage of it as I really need to use the space between the floor joists in my basement shop... ceilings are too low. :-/
