Removed (chromed) steel seatpost stuck in seat-tube by inserting a 30" long, 3/8" threaded rod into seat-tube. At BB, thread flat-washer slightly smaller in diameter than seat-tube ID and nut. Thread flat-washer and nut to rod coming out at seat-post. Using vice grips to keep rod from turning, start cranking top nut which pulls up rod and seat-post with it.
