I think everybody has been doing their own little p.i. thing on guys like these. What about telling him you´d like to buy the bike and where to send the money (of course, this might be a wrong address, but maybe no) and then look into the white pages. Maybe tell him that somebody has offered you the same bike/pics just now, and you´d like to warn him that somebody is using his pictures ...
