Don

The 73 Schwinn catalog shows a Deluxe Paramount P15-9 with a 54-49-36 front and a 14-16-19-25-31 rear (100 to 51 gi). Strange, the Deluxe Touring Paramount model (P10-9) had the 52-49 front with a 14-16-18-23-26 rear (104 to 31 gi). Seems the triple and the 14-31 rear should go with the touring model. Do not have any earlier catalogs.

Which company started us on the trend towards more and more gears ?? Schwinn (paramount P-15), or Raleigh (12-speed Pro) ??

I was also wondering if anyone sold a production bike, other than schwinn, that used a 15-speed campy triple.
