If Brian Bayliss is god, then Joe Bell is Michaelangelo. I've seen the work of both these artists and it is superb. Brian restored my '76 Masi, and I have a Rivendell A/R painted by JB.

I've seen about a dozen of Danny Green's Creative Cycleworks paintjobs. The early ones were on par with most production paint jobs. Over the last few years he's really become an excellent painter and quite imaginative in his custom paint schemes. He's a nice guy and honest to boot. I believe his background is in aircraft frame and paint.

The guys at the top of the profession are superlative painters but also understand the need for correctness; know what color, details, and decals are appropriate -- and can execute those elements.
