I'm looking for a donor bike for a frame project that walked in the door recently. I'm not in any kind of hurry. If you don't have something right now, maybe you'll find just what I'm looking for in the next few weeks..

WTB: more-or-less thrashed 1965-1975 mid-line bike-boom bike. Ideally it's complete, *no* key bits missing, with the following parts group, or some plausible variation on same (if the frame itself is toast, no problem, but everything else should be at least useable with minor work):

Cinelli or TTT Gran Prix or Record bars and stem Campagnolo or TA or Stronglight cranks Campagnolo or Lyotard or similar pedals Universal, Weinmann, or Mafac (or Campagnolo) centerpull or sidepull brakes with matching levers Campagnolo derailleurs with bar-end shifters, ideally Rally and Record, or, Nuovo Record, or steel Record. Valentino or the infamous Gran Tourismo considered. Campagnolo Tipo hubs or Record hubs with sew-up rims. Galvanized spokes ok. Campagnolo seatpost with leather saddle (brooks, ideale, or no-name)

A bike with a full Campagnolo Gran Sport group I'd consider also. The key thing is that the bike is complete, no matter how thrashed otherwise, and that everything works, or could be made to work, even if it's very rough right now.

I'd prefer to pay no more than $200 shipped for the right piece. Amount will be negotiable depending on parts and condition. Size is irrelevant, I'll consider any size.

I'd also consider some kind of trade, depending, as usual on whether I have anything you'd be interested in.

Thanks!
