I would pay $750 for that bike if it were in my size because it is a good bike in great shape, original, and hard to find. But that's what a guy who has spent years searching for a light blue Falcon San Remo would pay. But there may not be a big market for Falcons out there so it would not be a good deal if you take into account resell value.

My wife acquired a 68 Falcon San Remo for me two years ago as a surprise birthday gift. It also had the sloping crown chrome fork with little Falcon flame decals on it. If it were a replacement fork I doubt the owner would have gone to so much trouble finding and applying the decals.

It rides very well and has become my primary ride. After outfitting it with fenders I took it on TOSRV. I met a lot of people who remembered or once owned Falcons from the 70's. Central Ohio saw a lot of Falcons at the beginning of the bike boom.

We are a jaded lot that can sniff our noses at a $750 price when something that nice or that pretty could not be found new in a local bike shop for less than $2000 if it could be found at all.
