Tom,

AS Mario's painter and shop manager, I have the original build cards. The counterfeits I've seen have not had the right lug shape or spade shape. It's difficult to describe the differences. I can confirm from photos, serial number and frame size.

Also, I have a policy of sending the original design card to any Confente owner who sends me pictures of his bike.

I have heard of fake or counterfeit Mario Confente bikes. Are there any simple ways I could tell, if one I encounter is real or not?
