I swapped a few emails with this fellow last year (his name's John Price, by the way, which caused some confusion when he first contacted me because I thought he was our own listmember John Price...). He sent me a few detail pics of this bike... it does look older than 70's, but he told me 70-71 in his message because that's the best guess he got from Alberto's email, (and because of the Champione del Mondo 67-68-69 stickers on the seat tube). I tried to get him to drop the fork to see if the steering tube was dated but he never wrote back.

Now here's an interesting beast.  A Masi special track bike from the 1970s?  Makes no sense.  The paint looks new.  The frame looks like a GC...  A late-60s bike restored maybe?  

Pretty nifty though.  I'm glad it's not my size.
