Hi Bay Area Listers and Visitors:

It’s time for another ride. This Sunday, February 1st at 10am, meet at the Bird Refuge Visitor Center parking lot on the East side of the Dumbarton Bridge in Fremont. Go south on Thornton Ave. off Hwy 84, right on Marshlands Road and left into the visitor parking lot.

The ride will be leisurely paced across the Dumbarton Bridge and lunch at our usually spot, the Plantation Café and back to the starting point, around 30 miles. Allowing for lots of bike talk, should still be able to make it home before kick-off (maybe by half-time for Bob Freitas, depending on how much time he spend on bike talk after the ride). Ride something within the CR timeframe if you can, otherwise, ride anything you prefer, even a Moulton. Route is totally flat and most suitable for fixed-gears if you so prefer. Rain cancels.
