Dear All,

Whether or not it is true to say that the "Lambert" brand carries some 'baggage' with it, I have to say, as I have indicated in previous postings, that Lambert (later Viscount) frames were actually rather nice, robust, light and well fabricated pieces of kit.

Where the brand fell down was with most of the componentry - which was indeed rather suspect...

Again if you are all thinking of the legendary 'death fork' - I still have one in my back shed which I rode for many years (attached to a Viscount frame - and in at least one Three Peaks Cyclo Cross) without any incident...

Love and kisses,

Ian Briggs, Luton (the snow's gone now) UK
