I've bought a few things from Charley and IIRC, he has a completely different address than Carsten/Matthias in a different town. I doubt if they're related.

On the plus side, I sent Carsten a cash payment for a chainring back from when "Cyclo Network" was offering free shipping, October or November I think. I subsequently purchased another one that I should have paid shipping on and asked that they be sent together. The story in December, was that the cash payment never arrived. After a few emails, the most recent one resulted in Matthias going over to see Carsten and presumably look for the envelope. The end result is that the two chainrings are being shipped, with no charge for shipping.

There are undoubtedly some problems that Carsten and/or Matthias have, but it doesn't seem to me that they are anywhere near being dishonest as sellers. Dealing with them requires more patience and follow-up than it used to take when dealing with just Carsten, for whatever reason. They've always "made it good" and I have no problem with being a future customer of theirs.
