Almost certainly this is from around the late 70s to early 80s. The 82 Olmo catalogue shows a "Super Gentleman" frame, built from Columbus Zeta tubing which, I think was a plain gauge carbon-manganese type, based at the the bottom of the Columbushierarchy. It was later removed and Aelle became the starting point until Gara came along

The seat pillar would probably be 26.4mm.I can find no reference to the tubing in the Columbus catalogue but estimate it will weigh around 2400gms as opposed to 1950 -ish for SL- which is also a different type of alloy steel.

The catalogue shows a "Super gentleman" in light metallic blue with chrome fork-crown and high-lights in the lugs and engraving in gold. The groupset is Campag's "Gran Sport with the flutes in the cranks also picked out in gold.

In Olmo's stable the "Super gentleman" was at No2, coming after the Mod.Gran Prix A, built of plain gauge FALK tubing and sporting an accessory list using Campag 980 mechs, what looks like Thun chainset and possibly Weimann or cheaper Universal sidepull brakes.

as far I can tell the lug, bracket crown etc are the same as those throughout the range with the exception of the top models the Competition HF and the Leader Air. Geometry should be about the same, as the frame was designed to be budget training frame.
