I have seen Christophe toe clips in catalogs from the early 1930s and they would have been made after Eugene Christophe made a name for himself:

Eugène Christophe 1910 Milan - San Remo 1912 3 stages, Tour de France 1920 Paris - Tours, Bordeaux - Paris 1921 Bordeaux - Paris

The '30s catalog illustration shows a toe clip that looks identical to the last Christophes made (other than the style of logo of course). My best quess is that they date from the early 1920s.
