Peter -

Congratulations on your acquisition!

I bought a PX-10E in August, 1973, serial number is 2354936. Differences between yours and mine:

Simplex Prestige front derailleur (I think I was cheated here) Mavic Monthléry Professional rims Brooks Pro saddle Hutchinson sew-ups

Other than that, it's identical. The 1974 Peugeot "Sport Bikes" catalog I have lists the PX 10E as having the Idéale 90 saddle, and Mavic rims, but with everything else the same, and with your serial number being higher than mine, I'd assume yours is either late '73 or'74.

Although I've removed all the original components from my Peugeot, I still ride the frame and fork, built up with a mid-70's Campy Record groupo. (I'm probably going to get some flak for that.)

I hope my info helps! E-mail me off list if you have any other questions.

By the way, I'm new to the list (as of this week), so please let me know if I haven't responded correctly.
