Harris,

I mentioned a purple Competition in a post a few months ago that my (never rides his bike) brother-in-law (ex) bought at least 15 years ago. He clamped a kick-stand on it (tight), and parked it in the garage. It's probably still sitting there. It was one of the prettiest bikes ever. Never could talk him out of it.......Still chapped.

Hi all, For what it is worth,a friend of mine had a Raleigh Competition that was a purple color and the Raleigh name on the down tube was script like my 72 Pro.I never saw this bike in the catalog until the black ones with block letters in 73.So we may have another RRA thing going on here.I know it existed, anyone else see or recall these?
