Subject: [CR]Follow-up to FW Thread Discussion

I apologise if this is dragging-out the discussion. What is origin of ISO? I understand the ISO quality standard but, with the other types being so common why ISO? Who uses it? Can British thread FW be properly used on ISO hub?

ISO Threading: 1.375" x 24 TPI = 34.92mm x 1.058mm English Threading: 1.370" x 24 TPI = 34.80mm x 1.058mm French threading: 1.366" x 25.4 TPI = 34.7 mm x 1 mm Italian threading: 1.378" x 1.058 TPI = 35 mm x 24 TPI
