Item Description: Here we have a nice pair of early shift levers by Simplex. The levers are aluminum with plastic coating, the band has the old circle and "S". The levers have the "winged" Simplex logo. I don't know how correct all the parts are, Simplex was good about making all their stuff interchangeable. I can state that this unit is in good working condition and that there is very little corrosion. The plastic on the left lever is showing a little aluminum, but it is on the bottom of the lever. Both plastic covers are still securely attached. The clamp bolt is missing. Because of the diameter of the shift drum, Simplex shifters and derailleurs are best used together.
