Howdy folks.

I have a nice bike (Dave Moulton Fuso) that is in moderately rough conditon. I can't justify painting it, but I do want to make it look as nice as possible. I am confident I will be able to find reasonably good matches for the red/white/metallic gray paint using automotive touchup and/or nail polish. I have several spots that have been bare for a while but aren't rusty and at least a couple spots near vent holes where the paint was a bit bubbled. I scrapped off all the loose paint and I'm thinking some sort of dremel bit (maybe one of those rubbery abrasive ones) would be a good way to clean up the metal. I suspect it would be best to put something down on these bare areas before the color. What is the best thing to use? Ideally this product would not harm the adjacent paint. The biggest bare area is probably a bit smaller than a dime.

Thanks in advance,
