Geez Ritchie! What an embarrassment of riches. Not one Italian Masi, but two. to buy either of those meticulously restored bikes would require the liquidation of at least half my modest collection. Your Masi's are exactly like one I lusted over in 1972. That was the first year of Ragbrai in Iowa, although that's not what it was called back then. Donald Kaul and John Karas were two columnists for the Des Moines Register newspaper who organized a simple bike ride across Iowa. Kaul rode his Masi Criterium and Karas a Strawberry. Funny, they didn't anticipate over a thousand riders to join them, but today it's more like ten thousand. (I rode a Peugeot PR 10 on thr fist ride)
