I would just chip in that anyone interested in a frame with a logo on it that is not made by the original builders should simply research the purchase. Bianchi is part of a a big conglomerate and makes frames in Italy (they have real headbadges on the Italian frames and are usually campy) and has frames built in Taiwan (usually shimano). Many of these bikes are really nice and well designed by Bianchi USA. Obviously Colnago, DeRosa,Pinarello, Merckx, Guercioitti still make great HIGH Tech Alum/Carbon products that don't fit the cr mold but are in high demand (try getting a colnago c-50) and very expensive. The problem with the Masi for example is not that it is no longer lugged steel but IMO it is just a cheap knockoff of a nice bike-sort of like riding a fake Rolex . alec bradlow-tampa florida
