In the "old days" a new rider was more apt to listen to the "experienced." Today, with "coaching" by e-mail (from a coach you perhaps have never met in person), toe straps, how to glue a sewup, and the tradition of our sport is all but being lost.

The new rider may not even know (or care?) that "Moser" or "Coppi" is not just a bike, but were great competitors.
