The End to End record holders who used Raleigh's with Sturmey gears were,Harry Green 1908, Jack Rossiter 1929 and Sid Ferris 1937. Sid only had one eye and always rode with an eye patch. He was the brother of Harry Ferris the well known frame builder and crack tricyclist and tandem tricyclist.
