Well, I think the references to Chris' designing lawn furniture are a bit unkind. He is working as a designer for Gardener's Supply, here in Burlington, Vermont. I think he lives in Stowe. The company is known for their innovative products. You might think of them as the Specialized of the gardening world. They have some pretty neat stuff. Check them out if you are gearing up for gardening season. My wife worked for them a couple of seasons and it is a good, solid, employee-owned company. http://www.gardeners.com

I first saw Chris' frames at a New York Bike Show at the Coliseum, many years ago, when he was building road frames exclusively. His fillet-brazed bikes were a joy to behold. I recall that he had one there that wore only clearcoat. I was truly impressed.

We have his and hers early Fat Chance mountain bikes and I love them. Pre-index and suspension, of course.
