Hi George,

The foil decals on Gitanes always seemed to flake off easily with time and/or heat that caused the foil to curl. The adhesive materials used on foil decals were not very good back then...

Reflective vinyl sheets (Avery & Oracal?) are currently available where a Gitane decal can be redone, but requires a commercial sign cutter/plotter for printing on the vinyl sheet where I am unsure of the results and the cost would be very expensive due to shop charges.
