The decals that Sheldon has are from the mid to late 1970s. In the eighties, Gitane went with the Yellow/Black "bubble letters" logo (like on LeMond/Fignon's bikes), and then later went to an ugly sillouette look (spelling?), then later to block like letters, but that is beyond the scope of this list.
They are definitely pre-1980, though.
