Pete,

The Hurlow piece is simular to the Raleigh piece. Since the Hurlow has fastback stays, the arc is much smaller, also the diameter of the tube on the Hurlow is larger. The horlow bridge was made from a standard small piece of tubing that was curved, and then a standard TT cable stop(English style)was brazed in the center.

Easily made. The Raleigh version is a little different.

> Sorry I haven't been paying close attention to this thread. I have a Hurlow like the one that is in question. It was originally fitted with centerpull brakes. There is a cable hanger brazed to the stays in the form of an arc with a cable stop mounted in the middle. This is original to the frame. Your frame may have had the bridge removed at some time in the past.

Brian, Is that similar to the Raleigh piece? Is that available anywhere?
