Ok folks. Thanks for all the inputs.

The later nut type SR titanium BB is not right for this bike that was made when Brian was still just starting out. He still probably had to sweep up once and a while at this point.

What say you all to putting in a correct era one piece Phil Wood from the parts bin? It is Kalifornia after all.
