Rick,

The frame (Masi) I'm holding in the VR photo is actually the bike Mario personally built for himself when he was in Carlsbad. It now belongs to Ted Kirkbride and I'm currently in the process of returning it to it's original color and removing a few non original braze ons. It's a VERY special frame!

I dig the Mercian guys' shirt! I'm not sure WHAT is going on with that frame, though. Maybe it's being beefed up for use with a trike conversion. I think I see the stud that is sometimes brazed to the front of the fork crown for mounting a trike brake.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Getting ready to go for a vintage ride here in San Diego. Pergolizzi has out of town guests, so he's not going to make it. But I have talked to several who are comming, including Paeng on his Confente fixie, Charles Andrews, "Tall Paul" on his '84 Baylis (I assume), Sterling Peters, and several more. You joining us Rick? Hope so. I'm going to ride the fixie to keep Paeng company, not to mention to get the extra workout. I hope I can make it, it's a little hilly.

Oh No!!! Isn't that the last known Confente built Masi???

I can't wait to see the debate on what kind of frame that is that Mr. Hendrix is holding.
