Subject: [CR]update on Russ F.

> Hi everyone!

\r?\n> Thanks for all the emails and kind words. It helps so much. I printed

\r?\n> out a huge stack of emails, and took them to him in the hospital this

\r?\n> morning, and that brought a big smile! Russ is doing better today. His

\r?\n> cardiac enzymes are lower, which means a decreased risk of another

\r?\n> heart attack. Dr. James took him off the oxygen and the index finger

\r?\n> pulse monitor. He seems to be stable. He looked more like himself

\r?\n> today. The only difference is that they are not letting him shave, and

\r?\n> he is rapidly growing a full beard! (I have never seen him with a

\r?\n> beard!) Tomorrow, they are going to move him out of CCU to a regular

\r?\n> room. He is looking forward to getting out of the bed and walking

\r?\n> around a little, as well as taking a shower. He will be in the

\r?\n> hospital until Tuesday. Then he will come home and rest for 1-2 weeks,

\r?\n> then go back in for the bypass surgery. After his surgery, he will be

\r?\n> in a cardiac rehab program, which will slowly lead him back to riding

\r?\n> again. He is threatening to start a new club or email list for former

\r?\n> cardiac patients! So, his sense of humor remains intact! We'll be in

\r?\n> this resting/waiting stage for a while, until the surgery. For now,

\r?\n> it's as good as it can be, considering the circumstances. I am

\r?\n> grateful that he has so many people who care about him, and who are

\r?\n> praying for him and wishing us well.

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Please continue to keep us in your prayers, and I'll send another

\r?\n> update soon.

\r?\n> Ana
