They was some exchange on this e-bay auction back a while, when the list IDed this frame as an early '50's CB Avant Coureur (variant).

I hope you're right because I've just won the auction at the second bite of the cherry. It seems the previous winner defaulted on payment for some reason. Sad for him - good for me...
Anyway, I'll be picking the frame up on Friday and will whisk it off for re-paint asap. So I need some ideas please.
I'm looking for helpful suggestions as to suitable colourways (reasonably authentic) for the re-spray from you all.
I find myself bereft of any ideas except for red (which I love - but) - I've realised that nearly everything I own bike-wise is either Burgundy Flam / Metallic / Flat or Post Office Red - so any colour but Red this time...
Lloyds seem to have stock of the Clapham Head / Seat decals and I think the 'long script' down-tube transfers would be most correct? (corrections are welcome of course).
