Good observation! Charles Andrews also pointed out that it looks like the one on the Vintage Velos website Masi, from the 50s.

In my post, I purposely and carefully, did not offer that I thought it was a fake, just that it didn't look like the ones I had seen. That said, the badge in question looks like it may be embossed, not just "printed flat" on the brass base. This was one of the clues in the great "real or fake Cinelli badge" contest that Dennis in Japan put up a few months ago.

Does anyone have one of these on a bike, that is original who can do a direct
comparison?
