Force-Feed lubrication systems such as Tecalemit was available in 1936 I know this because my Russ is fitted with this system which dates from this year. I have no idea when this system was first used on bicycles. F.W. Evans employed a system on their bottom brackets which has an oil aperture screwed direct to the bearing cups, which fed the oil to the perfect position nearly instantaneously. My Father-in-law had a 1935 Evans solo with this system fitted. The Continentals also fitted a patent drip-feed system to the seat tube which dripped oil directly on to the chain. this would have been mid 1930's.

Best wishes and be lucky. Michael Butler Huntingdon UK.
