Yes, understand the reason to be "real". I think it's a nice, personal touch. Of course, for technical reasons the data base would only include us Post-it Nuts. Seems that from time to time, listers are seeking resources in other locations

The reason for that requirement is to reinforce all of us being "real people" as contrasted with the unfortunate tendency on the Internet for people to hide anonymously behind their Web persona and thereby be more likely to behave badly. I have had a few people absolutely refuse to accept that condition, being apparently petrified to use their real name and location. Unless they are in a witness relocation program or have done heinous things to someone, I cannot imagine giving in to that level of paranoia.

So, am I to understand that maybe you would like to know how many CR people live in certain areas? That would be tough because unless you send a message to the list, you do not have to state your geographic location. With nearly 1000 members, it is apparent that the vast majority of the membership never makes a peep!
