I have 2 of which will be receiving new life sometime soon they will be refinished where they were born!...........At the Bustraan shop for about $ 250.- a pop!!

BTW: We're going over to Amsterdam sometime soon!..............An old supplier notified of us of the discovery of some, a lot of hidden old goodies! Maybe the Stronglight P-3 headsets were found?...............One day he said I know they are around here somewhere................He had the whole crew looking for them!?!?!?! So my fingers are crossed.

DUMB!...........ME!......DUMB!............ME!.............TOTALLY STUPID! I let a whole box of partial Simplex 543 derailleurs and spare slip through my hands! Me wanting to beat the traffic out of Amsterdam.......Me!...Said I'll be back.........2 weeks later they moved and with the move this so called ''JUNK!'' was left on the sidewalk along with 300 sets of clamp-on Porta Cantena gear lever sets and who knows what else!?!?!.....OUCH!......We all know what these are selling for! Doing the numbers and I can KICK myself! One day a guy from Amsterdam dropped by for a visit! Anyway, he's low on funds for this hobby and pulls out a Cantena unit and asked. What do you think about this? he said he had hundreds of them! I asked where did you get them. He said on the sidewalks of Amsterdam. I then asked, what did you do with them?? He said I gave them all away but 2 or 3! I told him! Geeze,........if you had them you wouldn't have any problems financing this hobby!

BTW: 543 derailleur stuff was well over 100lbs! So to say! There was a lot of cover plates! If I do remember rightly some buyer from the land of the rising son forked out BIG BUCKS for just a cover plate!.....................3 bills plus!

BC Baron C................And the gang!..............Not going to make this mistake again. Renaissance cycles, Eindhoven Holland.
