trades, professions, passions, enthusiasm, fan(aticism)
Tools of a trade? get the job done, for me like my first bike, and every bike that I ride for riding's sake, be it my Sachs or my giant-seat-stayed TdF. Profession? when the user "relates" more to his tools, I can't think of a CR similie but its like snap-on tools versus craftsman. Passions? starting to appeal more on subtleties and intrinsics than functionality; and enthusiasm? maybe getting more subjective - but I think both my Hetchins and my Sachs speak to the CR passions of finish AND functionality. Fan(aticism) impossible to explain rationally, Lambert or Viscount collecting? Really though the best examples I can think of are Chicago Cubs believers, or UConn fans.
I can relate on all of these levels (to some extent) with the CR ciclista - thank-goodness
