Chuck, Jerry, and List,

It was me, myself and I who wrote:

"I suppose this is a prime example of the bias toward Campagnolo, which if sold as NOS, a new in a box 1973 record group bicycle would be ebaying for more than $230 (just a guess)"

I made this comment in reference to EBAY, not the CR members. There are many examples of dura ace selling for a fraction of campagnolo on Ebay, and yes, it's up to you individually to decide whether or not that's unfair! (actually, sounds great to me if I'm bidding!)

I do not believe that a lack of knowledge equals a bias. Apples and oranges in my opinion.

.Someone said this reveals a Campy bias here. I tend to agree, in that everyone seems to know what the correct markings on the axle locknuts were for a 1973 Campy Record hub, no no one seems sure how many versions of Dura Ace there were or when they were introduced.
