Dear Listmembers:

I just arrived home in San Diego. I need time to cath up on sleep and unwind a bit. But this event again deserves one of my Birdseye accounts of some of the more prescious moments if this incredible event. No matter how many time one attends this event, they will meet new, interesting, and important people. Important meaning people that will be of value to you as a source of things you may need withing the vintage bike collecting arena. Every moment is a possible landmark discovery waiting to happen. There is absolutely NO WAY to put a price on this, nor the inspiration, at least in my case, that I get from seeing things and talking to people while there. I have come away inspired in a deeper way than I ever have before, to do several things related to vintage bikes or the "keeping" of the flame.

I feel we may be entering a new era, if only on a small scale, of art/craftsmanship framebuilding. I believe this event may be primarily responsible for this developement. How can we put a price on that? This ENTIRE group is almost entirely responsible for this, don't you think?

I'm going to check out for now. Had a great time. Will rest and then start with the account.
