You know, last I heard Ken Kesey's bus was still sitting in his back yard (now THERE'S a restoration project). In the interview I saw, he mentioned turning down an offer from the Smithsonian institute, but I think his heirs (he passed away recently, didn't he?) would like the idea of passing it on to a bunch of vintage bike nuts who'd like to get it back on the road... Can't you just picture it with it's exterior artwork lovingly restored by Brian Bayliss, some nice alloy rims (did Campy's auto parts division ever make any that big?), celeste seatcovers... man, I'd fly to California just to ride back to North Carolina in that thing.
