Yep, Dan got a deal..although those wheels aren't original.
and the head-lugs aren't chromed. Who knows from relative condition, since the pics of both bikes are hopeless.
The panto'd stem on Dan's bike is not correct for the vintage. I dunno about the seat-post, since I can't see it in the pic.
The dt graphic may be slightly later than the green bike's, but I can't tell, again, because the pics suck. That seller really did himself out of a lot of money, didn't he, posting such lousy pics?
As I recall, I almost bid on Dan's bike just to cockroach the drilled chainring. I should have, it would have been worth it, and I could have re-sold the bike for more than I paid for it.
Nice going Dan... you got a great deal..but it ain't *quite* the bike the green one is... although whether it's 1700 bucks less bike is absolutely debatable.
