I'm putting out a few feelers in a search of a clean vintage tandem. British, french, or italian (like Pogliaghi road tandem, if not too shrimpy in the rear..although nearly all of them were...)... I have a Gitane, so I'm not looking for a lower-line tandem.. I'd like to find something with ligher tubing, ligher wheels, in good condition, and brakes that actually work well <g>
If you have one you're interested in selling, along this line, please e-mail me. 56-58cm c-t captain; 51-53cm stoker, preferably a mixte in the rear, but I'll consider a standard geometry.
Modern need not apply at this point.
Ideally I'll find a nice Herse or Singer or Jack Taylor, but I'm not holding my breath.
